Terms of use

1. The service

ZeroPingTools provides browser-based utilities and related content. Many tools process data on your device; some features may involve network requests (for example, to fetch assets or when a tool explicitly performs an external lookup). Tool-specific descriptions apply where relevant.

2. Eligibility

You must be able to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction. If you use the Site on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Site in violation of applicable law or third-party rights—including intellectual property, privacy, and computer misuse laws;
• Use network, scanning, or security-related tools to probe, attack, or gain unauthorized access to systems you do not own or lack authorization to test;
• Reverse engineer or scrape the Site in a way that harms performance, circumvents security, or clones the service for commercial redistribution without permission;
• Impersonate us, misrepresent affiliation, or use the Site to send spam or deceptive messages;
• Click on your own ads or use any automated means, including but not limited to bots, scripts, or manual methods, to generate invalid impressions or clicks on advertisements served on the Site.

You are responsible for ensuring your use complies with laws and policies that apply to you (including workplace and regional rules).

5. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE AND OUR AFFILIATES, CONTRIBUTORS, AND LICENSORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SITE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF THESE TERMS OR THE SITE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE SITE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM (IF ANY) OR (B) FIFTY U.S. DOLLARS (US $50), UNLESS APPLICABLE LAW REQUIRES OTHERWISE.

6. Indemnity

You will defend and indemnify us against claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your misuse of the Site or violation of these Terms, to the extent permitted by law.

The Site's design, branding, text, and original software are protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive license to access and use the Site for personal or internal business purposes in line with these Terms. You may not copy, frame, or resell the Site as a competing service without our written consent.

The Site may reference or bundle third-party open-source components under their respective licenses. Your content remains yours; we do not claim ownership of files or text you process locally.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms. We will post the revised Terms with a new "Last updated" date. If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify you where appropriate. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms, except where prohibited by law.

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the operator of ZeroPingTools, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Courts in the venue required by applicable law have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes, unless mandatory consumer protections in your country say otherwise.

11. Severability

If any provision is held invalid, the remainder stays in effect. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
